OPP release new photo of Shuniah and Pass Lake break-in suspect

THUNDER BAY — Ontario Provincial Police continue to investigate a recent string of break-ins at seasonal properties in Shuniah. 

Police released details of the investigation on Nov. 6, but have now reissued a request for public assistance in the investigation.

Along with a news release Tuesday, they provided a new photo of the suspect in the case.

Most of the incidents occurred in the Pass Lake area between Sept. 26 and Oct. 28, when someone gained entry into several seasonal properties and stole a variety of items.

Among the missing items is a red Lincoln welder/generator.

Anyone who may be able to identify the suspect, or provide any other information regarding these break-ins is asked to phone the Thunder Bay detachment at (807) 939-2133, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.   

Tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
