MARTEN FALLS – Members of the Nishnawbe Aski Police Service received a call for service regarding a house fire on Main Street in Marten Falls around 6:45 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23.
The home was engulfed in flames when officers arrived.
“Police confirmed with witnesses on scene that no one was inside the home,” a NAPS release said.
“The home was completely lost to the fire, and three vehicles close to the home sustained damage. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.”
The investigation remains ongoing.
