NIPIGON—Township residents are reminded of ways to protect our environment by using FOG cups when disposing of fats, oils and grease.
City officials listed the do’s and don’t of disposing of these products.
They informed their residents of the consequences of not disposing of these items properly. They can lead to plugging sewers which can result in flooded basements.
The township is sharing a chart to better inform residents of important facts regarding the disposal of fats, oils and grease, and that FOG cups can be picked up at the Municipal Office.
