SHUNIAH – On Friday, members of the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were looking for an individual that ran from police outside of a residence in Shuniah.
The Thunder Bay Emergency Response Team responded with canine to search for the individual.
McKenzie Public School was temporarily locked down while the search for the individual took place.
The individual was located by canine and arrested without incident. The school was reopened.
At this time there are no criminal charges being pursued.
