SCHREIBER—The Schreiber Discovery Centre and Railway Museum is now open to the public.
The township is encouraging everyone to be sure to come out and check out the new facility.
The Grand Opening is happening at 1 p.m. on Saturday July 16th. Raymond Goodchild from Pays Plat will perform a blessing and smudge ceremony. There will be a train themed cake and the Schreiber Seniors will be on site with their famous barbecue. The Lakehead Shrine Club will be offering kids a train ride down Walker Lake Road.
Museum Car all ready for the opening, boasting new floor and new displays.
Both the new Railway Museum and the Schreiber Discovery Centre are definitely both ready for the summer tourism season.
